I often feel like that I never know a new piece of technology as well as I would like until I have had a project (or two) under my belt. NHibernate is a good example. In 2005, I ended up not using it simply because I still did not understand what an ORM was. I was afraid that I would get my team in a hole!So...where do we start with Agatha ;P

Davy – good post. Every other thing is hyped as game changer - which it is not or may be applicable to limited boundary. Now the question is - how to keep up to date with latest mind blowing thinking. (in terms of technology, tools, patterns, principles, etc)For that I follow simple rule. If something new comes in my way, I simply ignore it. If the same buzz coming again and again for a reasonable time, it is worth to get introduction. And only if the brief overview sound convincing and interesting, it is time to invest some time. By now, if you are sold to the idea you will never want to leave it. This may be 'imperfect' but if it is capable to answer most of your concerns, you may still want to live happily with the 'bad things'.Thanks!
