That’s what happened when i ran the RunMeFirst.bat file that comes with the NServiceBus download.
What if i actually need msmq_ADIntegrated?

Yeah that’s messed up, the least they could have done was ask if that was okay before it made the changes.

You’re right that we should ask about these kinds of changes before making them.
That being said, Active Directory Integration will cause inter-machine routing failures with NServiceBus.
What was it that you needed Active Directory Integration for?

My guess is to integrate with Active Directory? It is a well known LDAP store you know…

i once had to enable it to experiment with something, but i don’t need it anymore
it doesn’t really matter though… making changes like this without asking for confirmation to the system of a user who downloaded your software because they either trust it to be good or because they want to give it a shot is just plain wrong. If i wasn’t aware of the benefits of NServiceBus, i sure as hell wouldn’t want to use it after something like this.
