		<description>I agree with you that performance, depending on the project, might be a driving factor for the design and may have to be a criteria of quality as much as say applying SOLID principles and having good unit test coverage.
I&#039;ve worked on a WPF project in a supposedly 100% agile shop and the code was awful because of a lack of willingness to understand a developer a platform somebody doesn&#039;t understand. I now wonder if this is one of the limits of TDD where it requires a pretty good knowledge of a platform.</description>
